| Detailed Description of Method/Results |
Observers tried to report the color/orientation of a cued item in an array. The spatial errors of the reports of color/orientations are independent of each other. In other words, even if the reported color was on the left of the actual color, the reported orientation was equally likely to be on the left and right sides of the actual orientation. This confirmed the original finding. |
| Any Known Methodological Differences (between original and present study)? | The original study used color/identity whereas the present study used color/orientation. Also, the features were arranged in a more natural order in the present study (i.e., red->yellowish red-->reddish yellow-->yellow). These methodological differences made no difference to the results. |
